Dear Fellow Kiwanians,
Namaste !
It is a deep honor to serve as the Governor of Kiwanis Nepal District for 2025–2026. I am inspired each day by your kindness, teamwork, and strong spirit of service. You carry the true heart of Kiwanis, and together we stand as one family with one purpose—Serving the Children of the World.
Our theme for this year is powerful and clear:
“Help for Children.”
This theme reminds us of our promise to lift children, support families, and bring hope to every community. It calls us to act with unity, strength, and love.
We also move forward with the global Kiwanis message:
Build. Nurture. Retain.
We will build stronger clubs, nurture our members and young leaders, and retain the spirit of service that guides our mission.
For this Kiwanis year, we focus on three key goals:
• Strengthen Clubs and Leadership
We will train, support, and mentor our leaders so our clubs grow stronger and our service becomes more effective.
• Expand Signature Service and SLP Growth
We will advance projects in children’s education, health, and empowerment. We will also nurture K-Kids, Key Club, and CKI so young leaders rise with purpose and confidence.
• Membership Growth and Retention
We will welcome new members and care for our current ones. When we grow together, our impact becomes deeper and brighter.
As we begin this journey, let us remember why we serve:
• We serve because every child deserves love and opportunity.
• We serve because every community deserves hope.
• We serve because together, we achieve more than we ever could alone.
I encourage each of you to stay committed to your 5 Bucket List and lead with a strong collective leadership model that puts children at the center of every action.
• Together, we will build a brighter tomorrow.
• Together, we will nurture a stronger Kiwanis family.
• Together, we will retain the true spirit of service.
Thank you for your dedication, your unity, and your belief in a better world for every child.
With respect and warm regards,
Dr. Ram Sharan Thapaliya
