February 9th, 2024 Kiwanis Club of Dharan renovated and handed over a washroom to Udaya Basic School,Dharan-20 – a school located in a very remote area oF Dharan where 20 children from very under-priviledged families are impartng education.The total cost of the project rs.34,990/- in which Rs.30,000/- was dontaed by Mrs.Sangita Bardewa from UK.The washrrom was renovated with propoer water pipelines, drainage system, hand wash basin and recoloured.The programme was honoured by Mr.Sujan Shrestha , Chairperson , ASPAC ,Kiwanis International as chief guest while the special guests were dignitaries from various government officials.Mr.Ashok Shakya , Education Co-ordinator was the programme co-ordinator.This was the 2nd programme organised by KCD since its charter as on of 1st January, 2024.
